Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song based on a friend of mine who had found there soul mate too early in life. She wanted to travel to places and explore the options thought life but on her own. They loved each other that much that they had one last night of being together and then went there separate ways.
Song Description
A young couple both from a small village met and fell in love when they didn't have the stress or the hassle of life.
Both studying in collage and living at home with there perants everything was amazing.
When collage finishes and they take a gap year and one slowly realises that all there friends and family have so many stories to tell about other going ons that they have had in the past, and are going to continually miss out on bigger things happening out side the village life and county.
After a few discussions and a lot of tears, they want the best for each other and didn't want to hold each other back.
They both decide to have one last night of romance and re visit the things they used to do as teenagers (Candle lights, star gazing, holding hands wile looking at each other, drinking wine etc) and then say there goodbyes.
The man then decides to write a song called "The waiting game" for her so she can keep it with her on her iPod and remember he will always be waiting for her if she was ever to return to the village.

Lyrics
If this is good bye
Lets make tonight last for a long while
Just like our first time
We can let the candle flicker by the bed side
No tears tonight
We can kiss and dance into the moon light
And you can Cary this song,
On your I pod so you don't forget that
I will Waite x3
For you
We open the wine
Cross arms as we look at each other
smile at the same time
With the free arm rapt around one another
In this moment of love
We make a wish apon the shooting star
And pray that god above
Will never let you go
too far
Cause
I will wait x3
For you
