What a great pleasure it is to review such quality
Clean mix and production. Good vocals.
I don't know where to start! The instrumentation was spot on, very commercial sounding but obviously from an earlier era. However for me that is not a bad thing. Loved the vocals loved the arrangement, really nice harmonies. In fact I dare say very reminiscent of 5th Dimension. Lyrically perfect perfect perfect. I'm a big fan!!! Easily a great fit for a period movie or TV show, very well done!
This is a nice love song. The man is asking the woman to share her feelings. That's a bit original since it's usually the other way around. (check out Bonnie Raitt's "Tangled And Dark") The vocalist has a nice, smoothe voice, and the layered spots are little treats, without being overused. The mix is good with all instruments clear, and the vocal is not buried. The lead guitar has some tasty licks in the solo. Nice. Nice ending with the organ coming out front to cap it off. Nice chord change at the place where yu talk about being a white knight.
I think I may have reviewed one of your tunes yesterday as this has stand out harmonies and backing vocals which grab my attention. Tune builds really well. Many songs on here never go anywhere or have any variation.
I just changed my preferred genre for this tune from folk to Jazz - can't make up my mind.
I think you would like some tracks by the British artist Gary Clark - check out his track Free Floating - orgasm for the ears!!!!!!
