Story Behind The Song
Someone asked me who the great love of my life has been and immediately I thought of two men who could qualify. That's how the "twice in a lifetime" theme emerged and, from then on, the song wrote itself.
Song Description
Sometimes the love of one's life turns out to be the loves of one's life. Some of us are fortunate enough to find love twice in a lifetime.

Lyrics
V1: I've been in love once or twice before
At least one of them loved me back, of that I'm sure
I'm not naming any names publicly
You know who you are and that's enough for me
Cho: You've got to give it to get it
You've got to live it and let it
Flow through you to the one who gets you
And maybe then you'll find love twice in a lifetime
V2: Who's to say how long love should last
Or how it should grow - how slow, how fast
We all fall in love differently
What works for you may not work for me
Cho:
Bridge: Happily ever after is just a question mark
I say run toward the light - don't stay in the dark
That may not always be the best advice
But it's worked for me at least twice
V3: So hear me out before you tune me out
Love is the one thing I know something about
For every Jill there may be more than just one Jack
I've had two loves in my life
At least one loved me back
Cho:
