Story Behind The Song
The beginning of any new love relationship is so full of promise and excitement. I wrote this song at that time in my life, when the first line appeared and demanded to be joined by other lines. That line "It wasn't a whim that brought us here - it wasn't him, it wasn't her" haunted me so I dealt with it by completing the song so I could move on to the next one.

Lyrics
End of the Rainbow
V2: It wasn't a whim that brought us here
It wasn't him - it wasn't her
It wasn't a fluke or a lark or a spree
But now I'm here and so are you
Tell me what we're gonna do about it
Now that we've found heaven's key
Chorus: If we take our time
And just take things slow
We may find gold at the end of our rainbow
If we give our all
And never let go
We may find gold at the end of the rainbow
V2: Caught in the sweetness of you
Someone so gentle, so true
Leaves me nowhere to turn or to run or to hide
Like a lost child found
LIke a shipwreck run aground
I've come around to take my place by your side.
Chorus:
Bridge: Just don't say no 'cause I don't want to hear it
Catch the spirit I bring to you
Wny ask why? Does anybody know"
Chorus: If we take our time
And just take things slow
We may find gold at the end of our rainbow
Tag: We'll find the gold at the end....
