Story Behind The Song
The chorus to this song haunted me (like so many pieces of songs do!). Clearly my psyche was intrigued with the thought that something awaits us "around the corner." I experimented with a more open tuning on the guitar and Bill Bentley went on to build a jazzy-bluesy instrumental track that highlighted the droning feeling of the lyrics.

Lyrics
Cho: There's something right around the corner
Waiting to catch your eye
There's something right around the corner
Don't know where - don't know why
There's something right around the corner
Open your eyes and see
Something right around the corner
Gonna set you free - you and me
V1: I watched the sun rise and watched the moon fall
While life was slipping through my hands
Fear of making mistakes kept me from making a break
For the life that I had planned
Till I stepped out of my safety zone
And found a life to call my own
It was so liberating
Not debilitating
What was I so scared of after all?
Cho:
V2: Now every day's an adventure and every night I enter
Into the sleep of a satisfied soul
No more hesitating - no more inner debating
No more battling for control
Don't know what the next chapter will be
But if I'm true to my destiny
I'll have fewer regrets - that's as good as it gets
That's plenty good enough for me
