Story Behind The Song
I never fathomed I would be "partner-less" for any more than a nominal length of time so you imagine how surprised I was the day I realized I had lived alone for over ten years! Well, as soon as the realization hit me, so did the beginning of a song (surprise!) and this is the result. I managed to sneak into a verse one of my favorite sayings: "I don't see anybody living their life just for me." Even though the song makes it clear that living alone is fine, there is still the optimistic glimmer of a thought that maybe there is someone out there with I can share my life without sacrificing precious alone time. Hey - I can dream, can't I?

Lyrics
All Alone
Cho: I've been in constant motion
I've been all over the world
One thing I have learned
Is I'm a solitary girl
Still I keep on moving
Without apology
'Cause I don't see anybody
Living their life just for me
All alone - all alone
All alone - all alone
V1: You chose to help the helpless
And you chose to help the poor
You wonder whether anybody cares
You hope you make a difference
But you're not really sure
When you reach out, is anybody there?
Cho:
V2: That's why I'm suggesting that you come with me
And maybe we can fashion us a home
Where we can play but stay true to our destinies
Some place we can be alone
Cho: So we have the chance to live our lives with no regret
These few precious moments may be all we ever get
Let's not waste our time debating whether life is fair
Let's get in the car right now and take ourselves somewhere
All alone - all alone
All alone - all alone
