Story Behind The Song
The title was inspired by something that a true, deep TN native said in a conversation. We'd never heard someone use a triple negative before and we thought it was funny and fashioned the song around it. We know that any of our High School English teachers would blow a gasket if they ever read these lyrics but we wanted to stay true to the character.
Song Description
After a long week of working, this exhausted guy's energy is renewed at the sight of his girl in the summer. The couple enjoy being together and enjoy the thrill of having each other, even though they don't have much else and he uses the triple negative to promise he will always love her: "I ain't not never gonna stop loving you... What better way to end the day?" Then, as the seasons change, the longer nights give the couple more time together, furthering the promise that he will always love her through every season of life. Cause he 'ain't not never' gonna stop loving her!
