Story Behind The Song
I always loved this TV show but the theme music was a bit too boring for me. I wanted to do it in my own way - wrote the lyrics and created a quirky melody to give it more modern feel.
Song Description
This song shows that whistling can be done at the same level as other "serious" instruments.
This song is about an imaginary place...with values we might want to consider in our real world.

Lyrics
Back some time ago
there was a funky little TV show
About a sheriff and his deputy
A magical place called Mayberry
Not too much happened in this sleepy town
The sheriff and the deputy just roamed around
Keepn' the peace on their friendly streets
Walkn' their daily beat
BRIDGE
But, they all got along
Singn' a song
And whistln' too
Maybe that's what we should do
So, come along and you will see
We'll take about Opie and Auntie B.
Andy, Goober and Gomer too
They're all here for you
