Story Behind The Song
Quiet Hands grew from watching people in my life struggle with things they couldn't always explain. I saw how sometimes the people who needed understanding the most didn't need advice or answers. They simply needed someone willing to stay.
I wrote this song about empathy. About recognizing another person's pain without trying to fix everything. Sometimes the greatest thing we can offer someone is our presence.

Lyrics
You never forced the silence
never asked me to explain
just sat beside the damage
without turning from the pain
There were nights I came apart
piece by piece, thought by thought
you held the room together
when I felt like I was lost
Some people drift
when the weight gets hard
you stayed long enough
to know who we are
You caught the pieces
I couldn't hold
stood beside me
through the cold
No loud promises
no need to pretend
just quiet hands
when I came undone again
And somewhere in that stillness...
something in me survived
Roads opened unfamiliar
half in shadow, half in light
we walked them without answers
just trying to get through the night
You never needed perfect
never asked me to be whole
just met me where the fracture lived
and stayed there through it all
The world moves fast
then leaves you behind
but some souls stay
without asking why
You caught the pieces
I couldn't hold
stood beside me
through the cold
No loud promises
no need to pretend
just quiet hands
when I came undone again
And somewhere in that stillness
something in me survived
Maybe trust is only this--
someone staying
after the breaking...starts
Maybe love begins there too
not in perfect words
but in open arms
You caught the pieces
I couldn't save
helped me stand
when I lost my way
No grand answers
nothing rehearsed
just one steady heart
when the world got worse
And after all the noise faded
you were still beside me
