Story Behind The Song
DJ Mannie Faces (Hershel Kirk) contacted Matthew Sims (Money Matt) after learning from his friend, David Highbaugh, that he had been given an opportunity to submit music to the Indianapolis Colts organization--an opportunity made possible through Mr. Highbaugh's direct relationship with the team.
Recognizing the significance of the moment, Money Matt stepped in to help by reaching out to select artists across Indianapolis to create a city-wide anthem. While several artists were considered, DJ Mannie Faces and Merc ultimately finalized the lineup after reviewing the submissions.
The project was elevated by contributions from Indianapolis favorite Skypp, along with standout verses from Mr. Ward317, Jovi Blac, Illy Octane, and Merc.
The Prize represents what happens when a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is met with unity, preparation, and collaboration. It has quickly become a soundtrack for winners, gaining strong early support from DJs and tastemakers around the world, and showing undeniable potential to reach the top.
