Story Behind The Song
This song was originally written by one of my sisters and a couple of her friends at a summer camp over 30 years ago. They wrote it to "dedicate" to a camp counselor who was a big country music fan.
About 10 years ago I became interested in the song but nobody could remember the lyrics to anything but the chorus so I hired a songwriter who does custom made songs to write the verses and a melody line.
Song Description
Stereotype cheating song. Somewhat of a novelty. Good love gone bad and causing stress and heartbreak.

Lyrics
You Done Stomped On My Heart
Verse 1:
Well, I used to think that you looked nice in those high heels
but, now every time I hear you come a clackin' I run for them hills
I used to think that you was sexy in your work boots
but now I hear you walkin up the stairs
I started running scared.
Chorus
You done stomped on my heart.
And you mashed that sucker flat.
You just sorta, stomped on my aorta.
Somethin's goin out on me.
I felt us drift apart.
And every step you took.
Was a stomp upon my heart.
Verse 2:
And I used to love it when we took our walks - together
But every time I see you now
I get a rise in my blood pressure.
I would buy you every shoe, cuz I knew it was your obsession
But, now I can't step foot in the shoe store
Cuz I'll get hypertension
(Chorus)
Ending (spoken)
With your clod bustin stompers.
You left my heart so full of holes
