Story Behind The Song
I wrote the song about the earthquakes in Haiti and Chile. I tried to put myself in their positon and wrote how I would feel if I found my world crumbled.

Lyrics
Crumbling Down - By Ernie Grice
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a drink
Cuz I'm tired and I'm dirty
And I'm too hurt to think
Children are bleeding
There's death all around
Cuz the earth started shaking
in my little town
CHORUS
There's no way to find anything
Except shattered hopes and dreams
Cuz my world came crumbling down
Oh Lord, please help ease the pain
Well the blood in the streets is starting to stain
The people are hungry
With nothing to eat
No bed for a pillow
They got no place to sleep
Oh Lord, won't you give me a hand
Well my families gone missing
And I don't understand
If you are so good
Then please help me now
Bring me a shovel
Help dig people out
CHORUS
There's no way to find anything
Except shattered hopes and dreams
Cuz my world came crumbling down
There's no way to find anything
Except shattered hopes and dreams
Cuz my world came crumbling down
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a drink
Cuz I'm tired and I'm dirty
And I'm too hurt to think
Children are bleeding
There's death all around
Cuz the earth started shaking
in my little town
CHORUS
There's no way to find anything
Except shattered hopes and dreams
Cuz my world came crumbling down
There's no way to find anything
But rubble and debris
Cuz my world came crumbling down
There's no way to find anything
Except shattered hopes and dreams
Cuz my world came crumbling down
