Song Description

My version of this song was meant to sound sacred, suspenseful, and sorrowful. It is a darker Christmas song so I really wanted to harp on that aspect of it. The piano starts the song with ornamentation added to the original melody to increase the mystery of it. And then cello comes in over a minute and a half later, at the bottom of its range, and increases the urgency of the song. The two instruments weave between each other throughout to create this beautifully sacred and heart-rending atmosphere.
