Story Behind The Song

"Lost Memories" started as an improvisation but became much deeper than that. The change of keys in the first few lines really created this unique and mystical atmosphere. The song is meant to make the listener think of reality vs. illusion - what is real, what is not. It's mysterious, but also very reflective.

Song Description

This atmospheric, melancholy piano piece is one of my favorite songs I have written so far because it started as an improvisation on the piano and then turned into so much more. "Lost Memories" is spooky, beautiful, and raw - and pays homage to the dark academia aesthetic I strive to reflect in many of my pieces.
