Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song at a time where I really wanted to capture different concepts. I thought "what does an echo sound like?" I didn't want it to be so simple as repeating the same line over and over, so I thought what if the hands kind of go back and forth opposite ways. And then the hands travel around the piano in different keys. That really added to the unsettling and mysterious atmosphere I wanted to create in this song.

Song Description

Ominous and delightfully haunting, this song evokes a sense of longing and mystery. The way the piano goes up in the left hand and down on the same chord in the right hand is supposed to mimic what an echo sounds like.
