Short, but sweet and very enjoyable and pleasing to the ears. The song has a personal flavor to it. Like the singer is singing to someone he knows. Very nice! There is also a Van Morrison quality to the lyrics and vocal approach that I really enjoyed as well.

Really nice piece chock full of soul. Everything going on in the background is superb, and piano adds a very nice touch. Vocals sound like a combination of Randy Newman and Joe Cocker.
Reminded me of Richie Havens, nice. Would be a great short song for a movie or TV show or documentary. Loved the style and the voice. Nice simple guitar work with a sweet melody.
the vocal is great very interesting voice, nice tone and timbre. the guitars are nicely played and lyrics are interesting. the theme of the song with the white dress and being a right mess works very well the juxtaposition is good.
