Lyrics
lyrics
Night-Time Nomad.
© Duncan McLauchlan 2019.
At night, when I am sleeping, I have the strangest dreams,
Reality is soon replaced; by fantasy it seems.
I dreamed, I was an astronaut, up, among the stars.
I zoomed across the universe, past Jupiter and Mars.
Chorus; Now, my intentions are all good, I'm honest, straight and true,
So please don't be afraid, that I might stray, away from you,
So, if this night time Nomad, this nocturnal rolling stone,
Should find adventure while asleep - I'll dream my way back home.
.... To you
I dreamed I was gladiator, in a chariot race,
I raced my way through thick and thin, to get into your grace.
I dreamed I was a pirate bold, sailing the ocean blue,
I pillaged east, and looted west, then home to be with you.
Chorus; Now, my intentions are all good, I'm honest, straight and true,
So please don't be afraid, that I might stray, away from you,
So, if this night time Nomad, this nocturnal rolling stone,
Should find adventure while asleep - I'll dream my way back home.
....To you
I dreamed I was a legend, movie-hero, super-star,
Filthy rich and famous, impressed you with my charms.
Last night, I was your hero, when I heard your screams,
I rescued you from monsters, but only in my dreams
Chorus; Repeat x 2.
