Song Description
"Wonders After Dark" is a song about my kids not wanting to go to bed, or to sleep for fear of missing out. It deals with the simple everyday wonders we all take for granted, and the wild over-active imagination of a child.

Lyrics
You were fighting off sleep, telling me you're not ready for me to leave. There's genuine curiosity, behind your eyelids, getting heavy, when you ask me what you're missing, when you sleep.
I could try to tell you nothing, just trucks on the highway running, you can listen for the whistling of the train behind the house, or the owl asking who it is, as it's swooping in, from the evergreens, while you sleep.
But I know you're not convinced by anything that seems too simple to be true. You said, If there's wonders in the daylight, then I wonder what happens under the moon. How many stars fall, and where do they land, and how many waves crash over the sand. If there's wonders in the daylight, I wonder what happens under the moon. If there's wonders after dark, I want to see them too.
And I'd be lying if I told you there was nothing.
If there's wonders after dark, I want to see them too
