Story Behind The Song
I, Carman Keddy, made the offer of a gift to a lady I like, for a special occasion, and the lady said she couldn't accept it. I felt rejected and unclear as to why she'd not accept it. We're friends. I thought write a song about the experience, magnifying it some degrees to indicate a rejection of deep love and the intense poignant and confused emotional feelings of such. Song be great for a major movie romantic movie's soundtrack.
Song Description
Man offers a gift to a lady he likes on a special occasion. The lady refuses to accept his gift. The man is deeply hurt, confused, feels rejected. Only wants the lady to love him back, at least return as much in friendship. Ideally though to long for him as much as the man longs for the lady, for her to love him as much as he does her.
