Story Behind The Song
Advice to those having extended troubles in life and cannot seem to figure out why.
Song Description
I have had my own broken dreams, and have been depressed many times about it and why it was happening. However, I found that the best way to overcome these failures and feelings was to look at myself, change my point of view, grab hold and change my situation, and stop blaming the rest of the world. I always found that when I made a new friend or found a new lover I suddenly would forget all these negative feelings. One day I had a friend who was going through hard times as I was writing this rhythm/song and the lyrics were (kind of) about him as much as me, hence the 3rd person perspective.

Lyrics
Wasting years of my life trying to be someone.
Never happy with where I'm going to, never needed no one.
Until a wise man appeared in my dreams and said the words that set me free.
And he said...
Stop and face the world.
'Cause times have changed, it's time to rearrange.
Make love to (like) a beautiful woman.
Make sure she's right for you, she won't break your heart in two.
Now it's later in life, and I've found that someone.
I've learned to appreciate good advice, can't say the same for everyone.
The time has come to convince yourself.
You can't put the blame on anybody else.
You've gotta....
Stop and face the world.
'Cause times have changed, it's time to rearrange.
Make love to (like) a beautiful woman.
Make sure she's right for you, she won't break your heart in two.
