Story Behind The Song

I was actually listening to old school gospel and soul music. I woke up the next day with a very east coast type drum patter in my head and wanted to put the two vibes together.

Song Description

Hero was a created to have a East Coast Vibe but with some of the soulful elements of the 90s. The Track was started off in Maschine laying different drum patterns. I wanted the drums to have a rock/hip hop type fill. So the drums are changing threw the entire track with fills. In cubase I created a simple piano melody and a brass track. I wanted the brass to stand out but at the same time fit with the piano. The brass track has a slight reverb . From there other elements of the track was added. The track is entirely 100 % composed by me so enjoy
