In 2001 musical chemistry prompted the creation of unique sounds and poignant lyrics that has jelled this foursome into a strong force on South Florida’s music scene. The band has produced 3 CD’s with nearly thousands sold at literally 100’s of shows played in virtually every venue that South Florida has to offer, continually adding to their already large fan base. Skidmark has developed a relationship with the local Clear Channel rock station, 94.9 WZTA which has resulted in airplay and live shows for many of the station’s events and functions, as well as airplay on the local college station 88.5 WKPX. The band is currently in preparation of creating a statewide college and club tour. Skidmark's song entitled "Lead Pipe" has been featured on Broadjam's Top 10 for the catagories of Genre, Southeast region, Florida region, mid-tempo, and male vocal.
