Sincere Parody began in 2006 as a minimalist folk project by songwriter Tracy Bryant. The first shows and lineup included Casey McCarthy and Tracy as a 2-piece. 'Sleepwalk' was recorded during this time (12 songs) and this was also the time Nick Cedillo was added on drums. After some shows etc...the band became Nick and Tracy who went on to record Sincere Parody 'Success Stories' in late 2007. This is where Tracy met Rick Mabery who in time became the engineer/bass player - time went on and turned out that Rick belonged behind the drums - Throughout 2008-2009 Tracy and Rick have structured a handful of new songs that are to be released in the near future on a still unnamed 12" record.
