Todd Herfindal has been wrangling the jangle out of rootsy power pop, bluesy indie rock for years now as singer, guitarist, bandleader, producer and all around good guy. He is a platinum-certified songwriter and guitar player, former staff songwriter for one of the largest independent music publishers Peer Music, and also a Billboard-charting artist in his own right. Whether he's turning up a guitar, getting that magical drums sound, or sitting in a co-write, he always brings laughs, plenty of heart and an unstoppable faucet of melodies and song ideas. Todd is a man of many talents who pays it forward by recording, producing, mixing and mastering new artists from near and around the world in his Hollywood recording studio on an ongoing basis.
Todd's songwriting and guitar have landed on co-written songs like Alesha Dixon's "Let's Get Excited" on her certified-platinum UK Warner/Asylum album "The Alesha Show" (with over 4 million YouTube, Last.fm and Myspace combined plays). His songs have landed in hit TV shows like Greys Anatomy and Army Wives as well as countless theatrical and television feature films and shows. His voice and songwriting can be found on just about every network and cable channel, from ABC to the History Channel to Lifetime to MTV. Todd's record label Single Recordings is a happy home to many underground bands and writers.
