I am a career musician with a degree in jazz and an education certificate. I have been a pro musician since I left high school and joined a military band,then went back to finish my education. I played with scores of big band jazz groups, and played in a TV show band, won some awards for composition, worked with community music groups where I founded the Brandon Symphony, the Sunshine Coast Concert Band and the Roberts Creek jazz band, all of which are still going. I have done some conducting in orchestral and band settings and have played and taught professionally for more than 45 years.I now play violin almost exclusively, in a variety of settings and genres.
