A singing pianist, Emil Dardak has written songs and some of his songs won in music festivals. The song, I Have Found My Life in You won a radio weekly original music competition that has been succesful in giving birth to newly emerging artists in Indonesia. This song is largely inspired by the progressive jazzy pop songs that were popular in the 70s & 80s. When You Look At Me is an easy listening song that has the influence of bossa nova and is a very simple song. Currently, Emil's songs are included in two compilation CD albums released in Beppu, Japan.
