Mike J comes from a music dynasty-his brother is former Bad Boy producer Stevie J. Mike J has worked with Lil' Kim, Mary J. Blige, Total, Monifah, and Gordon Chambers to name a few. Mike J writes, sings, plays a variety of instruments, specializing in guitar, and produces. Ever the iconoclast, he left the NYC life in search of a new experience to expand his music. His quest sent him to Nashville, Tennessee, to write with country artists, including Windswept's Kenny Greenberg. Now stationed outside Los Angeles, the dichotomous fusion is still trademark Mike J., and he continues to produce hip-hop and R&B.
