Mike Pinder's Bandwars

Mike Pinder's Bandwars is an opportunity to get your music heard. This contest is open to all genres of independent performing bands/solo artists. Mike Pinder has created a competition to help songwriting bands/solo artists in practical ways. He understands the obstacles bands must overcome to be in a position to have their original material recorded, showcased, and marketed. Mike has put together a package of awards to bring up-and-coming bands/solo artists to a new position to promote their careers.

Enter your band for a chance to win a 40-minute showcase at Red Gorilla Music Fest in Austin TX, plus recording time at a major studio, just to name a few of the prizes.

Mike Pinder was one of the founding members of The Moody Blues in early 1960's. The band had many hits including Go Now, Nights in White Satin, and Tuesday Afternoon, to name only a few. Mike has a strong sense of artistic responsibility to support the development of music from one generation to the next. He has a desire to help new talent refine their art and be validated through that process. His songwriting competitions are the result of his vision and passion.
