Story Behind The Song

I wrote this piece with a romantic drama type film or TV series in mind, possibly victorian timeframe(downton abbey) or WW1 1900's. The main melody/theme gave me visuals of a woman reflecting on her personal diary entries about the love of her life. As she reflects it's shown in time lapse fashion, eventually we see her writing her final diary entry as an old woman after her partner has passed away in war, cherishing those memories.
