Story Behind The Song
Basically, the things that are going on in the world today. Furthermore, I wrote this song with the concept of news reports over 13 years ago and today it is still relevant. I can think of more words to add (Technology, Police Brutality, Iran, etc.)
Song Description
I wanted a nice simple but funky bass line with choppy guitar chords. This was my attempt to get the audience to listen to news reports as a audio collage but layered with a soulful groove that has drive but not overbearing. Lastly, adding just a spurt and splash of a Jamaican accent with a touch of short vocal harmonies. I would like and another instrument and a few more sound effects.
