I have been a musician for forty years and a social worker for thirty. Life as a musician prepared me for social work and now social work provides me with material for songs. Not much more to say.
Musicians and Song Writers
Mark Ragg. After years in the Ontario music scene I burned out on the road and became a social worker. I know my career should go the other way around but I tend to go at things a bit backwards. As a social work I kept writing music and playing. Most of the songs are inspired by my clients and situations I encounter as a social worker. I now teach social work at Eastern Michigan University.
Co-writer and session musician - Brad "Cheshire" Davis. After traveling Canada in multiple bands Brad settled into the profession of social work. Known for his smile and bass chops he helps stabilize the bottom end of most songs Brad continues to practice social work in Chatham Ontario at Family Service Kent.
