NEW SONG IN YOUR EMAIL
Hi Allison, Thanks for your kind review of Rivers That Flow. It wasn't really written with any plan, it just sort of happened when I playing around with the rhythm. You are quite correct, the market for this would be very limited. To be honest, I've stopped paying to submit songs nowadays anyway (I've spent a lot over the years and had very little back), so no great worry in that regard. Good luck with your songs. Thanks again, much appreciated, Bob
ITS A MARKET THATS VERY DIFFICULT WE ALL FEEL THE SAME WAY GREAT SONGS BUT DON'T GET PICKED UP
Hi Allison, After a couple of incidents regarding so-called "opportunity providers", I have little faith in Bjam. But I stay on to keep in touch with the pals I've made on here and to listen to the great music people are producing. A few of us added up just how much we had paid out in submission fees, it was quite an eye opener. On top of that, there are membership fees. And for that money I have never had more than songs in a few libraries that may not ever see the light of day. I am in touch with some excellent songwriters who also have very similar experiences. Sorry to say, I'm more cynical each day! Cheers, Bob
I got a contract on one song it was licensed but never went anywhere I heard taxi is the same way
Yep, I believe so. I'm trying out some others but it's a small market and a lot of very good music. Still, I enjoy the process of writing and recording, so no probs.
