I'm a 19 year old student attending Catawba College. I was born and raised in florida until around the summer of 2000, then I moved to Delaware. There, I taught myself guitar and got into writing while playing out my songs when my father's band played. As the months went on, I started to catch people's eye. I started popping up all over my local newspapers, and being invited to play places on my own. In 2003, the Delaware's Players Club invited me to perform for the singer/songwriter award at their 'Local Grammys'. I was facing off against many many people, who were twice my age, and have been writing for years longer. I won the award, and I caught the eyes of many club owners.
In 2006, I was notified that I am a national finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship contest with my song 'Only 17', produed by Keith Mack (Scandal/Joe Cocker). I have done charity work to raise money for those who are in need as well. During the fall of 2006, I shall be recording a 12 song disc
My new album "All Behind Me" is on its way this April, with 12 tracks. I've been working hard in the studio for the last 6 months. It will feature new versions of "Stay or Leave" "Words You Bleed" "Gone in October" and "Only 17". As well as new songs such as the 1st single "How I Roll", and the fan favorite "Where to Begin." Should be out on Itunes by May, and up for physical grabs via internet.
