Angie LaDuke has been a vocalist in bands since the 1970's. She started out in a pop band that toured all the military bases in the Inland Empire. She worked with a country trio for 9 years. She also was the lead female vocalist with another pop band for 7 years. Angie currently performs her original songs released on her CD in 1999c. Her husband sings with hers as well. They perform Sinatra Duets and a wide variety of musical renditions at private and corporate functions and festivals.
Looking forward to our second performance at the nostalgic Grand Oak Restaurant at Highland Springs Resort, in Cherry Valley, CA on June 14, 2013. Even Einstein stayed at the hotel that is there, back in the day.
Angie La Duke Bio
Angie hails from Chicago but grew up in So. California. She sang 3 years with a rock band in the 1970's. (Members of the group had a number one hit "I'm Captured" in the 1960's.) Angie sang for 8 years with a pop group and then another 8 years with a country trio. Since 2000 she has been making music with her husband at various venues and shows. She has entertained at yacht clubs, fairs, lounges, and private functions all around California. Her CD release party in 1999 was attended by over 300 fans. That evening she performed all her songs with a live band (which included at the time Freddy Fender's Keyboard player)and other stellar musicians. The musicians on her CD are all studio quality. Angie's wide vocal range and flexibility enable her to belt out songs that emulate the style of Patsy Cline, Natalie Cole, Connie Francis and other great female vocalists of the pop and swing era.
