I Was Never Here

William Mallory generation X era, Atlantic Records Recording artist back in the eighties, studied Piano and songwriting for 30 years. He attended Berklee College of Music for a year, and released 7 solo independent projects throughout the 90's and the 00's. I Was Never Here considered by William to be a very strong and personal work of art, both musically and lyrically. A statement on the industry itself, the music well thought out and melodically arranged will remind you of what it used to be like before compact discs replaced the needle on the record. The album took a year and a half to make using four home studio's, seven musicians, including drums by Karl Latham, well known for his Jazz throughout Europe. Though not a major release, the ten song album gives a vision of what it is to be a real musician and artist in today's world of ever crumbling ideals and realities. William considers this record his best artistic work marking the ever so plightful and fickle world of the music industry.
