“These Are My Dreams” is Stan’s first Studio Album, recorded just as he was leaving the Army in 1991. It has been extremely successful, with well over half of the songs being covered by other artist’s world wide. The title track won the converted Keith Marsden Song Writing Competition in 2000 and has just been recorded by Martyn Wyndham-Read. Other tracks from this album have been recorded by well known artists in Australia, France, Norway and the United States. Skilfully produced by Kenny Speirs, the album contains a number of his classic songs including Alice, Days Like These, These Are My Dreams, Across the Sea, Monuments Of Stone and A Soldiers Goodbye. With superb arrangement and accompaniment from a host of top musicians including Stewart Hardy on Fiddle, Iain Lothian on Accordian and Tommy Roseburgh on Piano, this is an album you will play over and over again and well worth adding to your collection.
