This double CD is a beautiful representation of Nougat's diverse repertoire. One CD is interpretatoins of mostly familiar pieces and uses voice and flute as well as Nougat's characteristic mandolin and guitar. On their "originals" CD, Tania and Ruth's compositions reflect the breadth of musical influences available in the modern world. From traditional Andean instruments to Persian Santour, domestic wind-chimes and spoken word, the music is played skillfully, passionately and with great musicality.
