What an opportunity and thrill Johnny Rodgers has had performing and touring with the legendary Liza Minnelli these past few years. This EP shares some of those happy times with Liza. Let's Make A Date was inspired as Johnny saw the world with Liza Minnelli as her piano man and guest artist. Liza joins Johnny in this swinging duet. Your foot will be a tappin' as they coax each other to take some time out for a little bit of huggin' and kissin'. Note that this was "Pappy" Bill LaVorgna's (long time Liza music director) last recording prior to his passing. We dedicate this song to his lasting memory. You Can Leave Your Hat On is an original arrangement of Randy Newman's classic hit. It grabs you from its brash beginning and then takes you on a fun and sexy ride through to the closing trailer...
