A lush debut from singer Colleen Max Fisher -- with a sound that's a offbeat from the usual Neo Soul release! The album's got some nice atmospherics in the backings -- keys and beats the float around with a good sense of space, and which create evocative passages that really draw out Colleen's sly vocals. There's almost a Julie Dexter quality to some of the work, although the overall feel is a bit more straightforward -- and Colleen's voice is definitely one we'll be hearing more from in years to come!
