"Urban Folk" My Origin Newton, Mississippi (Delta Blues) , Birmingham, Alabama (Gospel) to Bowie Maryland (Urban Folk Dance)"

This musical journey starts deep in the red clay dirt of Newton, Mississippi (Jackson Area) where my grandfather was born. My Grandfather placed a handmade Hawaiian guitar in my hands and placed my fingers on the strings to make a musical sound. Later joining in and falling in love with the rustic, unpolished chords of the Mississippi Delta. I beg you to listen to "The River Blues (The River Bends)" as I attempt to capture that original song as heard from my childhood. I feel blessed to have experienced the rich gospel music at his church Alabama, as well. Listen to "This World (Grateful)". Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee I dumpster dived for cassettes of hopeful artist thrown away by the many record labels there. I rode around town listing to hundreds of Artist. This is where I started to sing and perform and create my own songs. I look to sing about relationships and love. As the long title of the Album suggests this is my best swipe, swatch (A representative portion) of my life. I hope you enjoy the music and thank you for your support.
