Casa del Fuego

For seven years dblWiDE has been playing the bars and honky tonks across the state of Florida, honing a sound and stage performance that drives their fans to frenzy. dblWiDE is the "house of the fire," and the CASA DEL FUEGO CD captures that roarin' house-melting heat. It features 1950s retro rock with that rockabilly wildman energy, but with smart songwriting showing a diversity of musical influences. What does dblWiDE sound like? Think Hank Williams Sr. in the back seat of a Cadillac just after new years 1953, or that first Sun recording session where Elvis met Bill Black and Scotty Moore in 1954, or Carl Perkins and his brothers setting up in an Arkansas honky tonk with sawdust on the floor, or Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys playing in Cincinnati for the first time and really lettin' loose, or Gene Vincent crooning to some rockabilly kitten he knows he's gonna score with after the show, or all those late 1950's rockabilly wild men who got the beat from Elvis, recorded those ultra-revved up county tunes, but died in obscurity.
