Everybody has their own standard of normal, while others may consider them to be quirky or abnormal. Ones behavior is considered to be abnormal when it is not typical or extraordinary, when it consists of undesirable behavior, and when it results in impairment for an individual to function. Abnormality in behavior is what is considered deviant from certain expectations based on societal, cultural and ethnic standards. These expectations are very broadly dependent on categorizations of gender, age, and other traditional and societal orderings.
