Story Behind The Song
The song has some personal meaning I'm sure, but nothing really significant now. I get inspirations from experiences as well as imagination and put them to words and music. This song was started back in the early 80s and I picked it up in the 90s, followed through and completed it. I recorded it on a Tascam 8 track analog machine obviously before DAWs were invented. To me, the song was always worth copywriting and sharing because like all songs I create, it comes from the heart and I put everything I had at the time into it. I'm not interested in fitting in to any particular genre or emulating any musician. I just get an idea and go with it.

Lyrics
I WOULD LOVE YOU EVEN MORE
AS SURE AS MY HEART HIT THE FLOOR
IF I'D GET THE CHANCE TO SEE YOU
OH THE PAIN THAT I'D GO THROUGH
BUT YOU'D KNOW THE PART OF ME THAT'S FILLED WITH YOU
YOU'D SEE I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE
IF WE WE COULD ONLY MEET AWHILE
JUST SO WE COULD LAUGH AND SMILE
WE COULD MEND THE FENCE TOGETHER
AND UNDERSTAND THE SIMPLE TRUTH
THEN RESTORE THE PART OF ME THAT'S FILLED WITH YOU
OH THE TEARS THAT IVE GONE THROUGH.
MAYBE IT WAS ONLY FATE
BUT WE CAN SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT YEAH.
AND TURN THE PAIN TO SPECIAL FEELINGS
AND KNOW THIS CURSE NO MORE
OH LET ME SHARE WITH YOU THIS ONE LAST THOUGHT
I LOVE YOU, THAT'S FOR SURE
