Good balance of voice and background

Enjoyed the melody. Piano carries the song well.
very much a Leonard Cohen feel to this, the verses and the lyrics work quite well - the use of a 2nd vocal is nice, although not sure about its use in the chorus, basically because it makes the overall vocal line too strong for the piano accompaniment.
vocals are sung with feeling.
Where do I begin? Well first off the keyboards were spot on loved the playing. The vocals were not the strongest however fit the song and the arrangement nicely. The instrumentation was just a piano but very well played. The arrangement was good as well. Lyrically very meaningful
The highlight for me is the heartfelt piano playing, which truly brings the song to life. Elton John comes to mind... It is not a mere recording, it is a performance, which literally jumps out and holds the lucky listener till the end!! I love the last line 'wish there were rainbows all the time'.
