Now in its 19th year, The DSA 2008 Song Contest is one of the longest running international song contests for amateur songwriters. Offering over $5,000 in cash and prizes this year, the DSA has added TWO new categories – “Bare Bones” (vocals + 1 or 2 instruments) and “Music Video,” for TEN categories in all. See Contest Rules for eligibility. Accepting Submissions August 18. Videos will be judged on caliber of music (any genre); visual support or enhancement of the music; creativity; originality; and ability to capture the viewer's attention and imagination.
