Story Behind The Song

This song was inspired by personal experience. I wanted to write a smooth groove that described the new transition I was making in my life and the way I felt about this person. I also wanted to write something more on the soulful side for my sophomore album "A Portrait Of LadyMay". Most people were you to just hearing me sing classic jazz style songs and wanted people to see my other side, especially if they have never been to one of my shows.
