Story Behind The Song
The inspiration for this composition came from a good friend who was going through a very difficult time. I wanted to help in every way possible but knew the best he could do was listen and be supportive. "Darker Days" is the expression of the emotional frustration I was feeling fused with the desire to bring his friend to a brighter place. "Darker Days" is a clear example of how all of my compositions tell a story if one listens closely.

An emotive piano composition that tells a story. It won for Best Instrumental Composition at the 2012 Song of the Year Awards as well Best Classical Recording at the 2013 Indie Music Channel awards.
