This is an extremely well-thought out, beautifully crafted song. The performance is flawless; the lyrics original and the production lovely. Not enough good things to say about it. It combines nature and love and adding that to the beautiful state of NC makes it a sure winner. Your word pictures are excellent, from the crickets rubbing their legs together, to the polished boots, pressed shirt and love note words in your pocket...fantastic lyric writing. Easy-going feel, could be folk or country...either way, I love it and wish you the best with this fantastic tune!

Beautiful intro. Nice melody and very nice lyrics. I believe in 3 chords and the truth. Sometimes less is more. If you try to make it too intriguing you take away from the memorability of the song.

The vocals and instrumentation were well suited for this song. It had an "Old Country" feel too it, which was refreshing to listen to. The overall recording of the song had a really good feel too it with all of the parts. It was actually an enjoyable song to listen to.
