The maceomusic web site showcases the songwriting of Graham Hunter, a Sydney-based musician who has written & produced songs for many vocalists including Zan (I'm Talking), Keren Minshull (Euphoria), Sandy Chick (Rockmelons), Robyne Dunn, Joy Hopwood, Simone Hardy, Dara Cipriano & Kylie Jaye.
In 2004 Graham worked with Sydney Dance music collective 'Soul System'. This led to the release of the song 'Real Love' through sugafreemusic & Warner Bros. The song was also included on the Hed Kandi compilation World Series UK Mix 1.
Soul System recorded more of Graham's songs in 2005/2006 such as 'Givin' It Up' which was sung by Gerrie Malla and included a rap by Afrika from 'The Jungle Brothers'.
U.K. artist 'Peyton' recorded Real Love in 2006 on the strength of the Soul System recordings.
Graham also wrote and recorded music for Sydney rock band 'Drama Kings' (www.dramakings.com.au) and started a working relationship with Jazz vocalist Louise Perryman.

1993 : Produced and arranged music for Sydney Hip Hop duo ‘The Urban Poets’ with Mark Seymour.
Composed and produced music for two General Pants commercials with Mark Seymour.
1994 : Recorded demo’s for Dara Cipriano who was signed to the INXS management team.
95/96 : Completed an album for Sydney vocalist Kylie Jaye who now produces programs for the lifestyle channel & other cable networks.
1997 : Wrote and produced songs for software company ‘Oracle’.
1998 : Started a working relationship with D.J. Jack McCord and Marita Erak who both went on to start up the label ‘sugafreemusic’.
1999 :Worked with ‘sugafreemusic’ artists Isis and ‘Popstars’ finalist Arrnott Olssen.
2000 : More corporate work for Mincom Pty Ltd & The Forum Group.
2001 : Started ‘Maceo Studios’ at 203a Chandos Street Crows Nest, NSW.
Began work on music for sugafree artist ‘Soul System’.
02/03:Composed & recorded 15 songs for ‘sugafreemusic’. The song ‘Real Love’ recorded by Soul System was included on the Hed Kandi c.d. ‘World Series U.K. Mix 1’. www.hedkandi.co.uk
This c.d. was released throughout Europe & the U.K. and became the labels highest selling release in Australia.
2004 : ‘sugafreemusic’ release Soul Systems ‘Real Love’ single on 23rd April, 2004.
Entered the INXS Remix competition and made the final 5.
2005 : Recorded more songs for Soul System including 'Givin' It Up' which included a rap performance by Afrika from 'The Jungle Brothers'.
2006: Composed and recorded 12 songs for Sydney rock band 'Drama Kings' (www.dramakings.com.au). Began a working relationship with Sydney Jazz vocalist Louise Perryman. Under the name 'Second Hand Daylight' we have recorded many songs previously written as well as a couple of new songs with Louise, bass player Craig Herbert & drummer Craig Norman.
The song 'The Pleasure is Mine' is currently under consideration for the next 'Cafe Del Mar' cd.
