The 52nd Gua of the I Ching, "Gen" shows the image of one mountain atop another. In Taoism, mountain symbolizes deep stillness. Stillness upon stillness represents meditation. For me, there is no deeper or more intimate meditation than to sit alone at the piano and follow the spontaneous guidance of Spirit. This recording is a document of one such meditation.
